Chad’s roots go back to the Midwest where he was an active member in sports and the community as a whole. Immediately after high school he chose to serve something bigger than himself and enlisted in the U.S. Navy spending four invaluable years learning the time-tested values of honor, integrity, and commitment.

Chad’s calling to serve others made him realize his next goal in becoming a firefighter. He worked ten years as a career firefighter which equipped him with the skill set to provide trust and care for those when they need it most. It was in these moments Chad understood the importance of being a superior listener and communicator.

After discovering the coastal lifestyle of North Carolina and all the beauty it has to offer, Chad and his family now proudly call Wilmington home. He is especially taken by the access to recreation both on the water and inland, the vibrant restaurant and brewery scene, regional historical sites, as well as the abundant amenities the Cape Fear Region has to offer.

When he is not working, Chad enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is married with three daughters who keep him on his toes. He enjoys beach trips, sports, exercise, hiking and anything outdoors with his beloved rescue dog, Lexi.
