A native of North Carolina, Abby grew up on Lake Gaston, an hour and a half north of Raleigh. Living in such a rural area for most of her life, she was excited to attend Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, where she enjoyed experiencing city life. Upon graduating in 2011, she moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW, where she got her teaching license and her Master’s in Spanish.
After finishing her studies, Abby taught at the International School at Gregory in downtown Wilmington for one year. She then spent the next four years driving across the bridge to teach Spanish in Brunswick County. While teaching was fulfilling in many ways, Abby knew that she was meant to do something else. She started learning more about the real estate industry and quickly decided she wanted to become a Realtor. She’d always been interested in learning from other Realtors. Living in the Historic District in Wilmington, known for its beautiful homes filled with character, solidified her love for all things real estate.
Abby enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, and their two dogs, Piper (golden retriever) and Grady (chocolate lab), in her free time. They can often be found going for long walks in their neighborhood or visiting Carolina Beach State Park to hike and let their dogs swim. On the weekends, they love trying out Wilmington’s many exceptional restaurants. They also enjoy hanging out with friends and visiting their family in Beaufort, NC.
Abby has always enjoyed getting to know and helping others. Her Spanish background and extensive travels through Central and South America have allowed her to meet people from all over. In addition, she has enjoyed participating in numerous overseas mission trips. And although she loves traveling whenever she gets the opportunity, she knows that there is no place in the world like Wilmington. Her passion for and knowledge of the port city is evident to everyone who works with her. Abby would be honored to help you sell your home or find your dre
